HD23 open (Likely R): Texas Alliance for Life PAC endorsed Patrick Gurski (R) in the runoff over Terri Leo-Wilson.
HD60 (Safe R): The Fort Worth Star-Telegram endorsed Rep. Glenn Rogers (R-Graford) in the runoff over Mike Olcott.
Voter Fraud Conviction: In an 8-1 decision, the Court of Criminal Appeals ruled that a lower court should have considered whether Crystal Mason knew she was committing a crime when she cast a provisional ballot in Tarrant Co. in the 2016 presidential election. The ballot was not counted. Mason was sentenced to five years in prison for voting illegally. The case was remanded to the Second Court of Appeals.
