Questions before you refer.

How much do I actually earn?
$250 for every person who signs up on a one-state plan, $499 per person on all states plus Federal. A 10-person national team? $4,990. To you. Every person counts, so bigger teams mean bigger checks.
Is there really no cap?
Really. If you refer a 100-person agency, we will happily write you a very large check. There's no annual limit, no maximum per referral, and no maximum number of referrals.
When and how do I get paid?
Payouts run monthly. Once your referral's first invoice is paid, your reward goes out in the next monthly run, by ACH direct deposit. We confirm the amount with you in writing before it goes out. (US tax rules apply: rewards over $600 in a year come with a W-9 and a 1099.)
How do you know a referral came from me?
Your personal link tags every demo booked through it, and the introduction form records you as the referrer. If a colleague just mentions your name on a call, that counts too. First referrer on record gets the credit. We track it so you don't have to.
Does my colleague get anything?
Yes. Every new team gets the white-glove treatment: free migration off their current tool, full onboarding, a dedicated account manager, and live support during session. You are not sending them an ad, you are sending them a better way to work.
What if you're already talking to them?
If the organization was in active sales conversations with us during the 90 days before your referral, it does not qualify. We check the moment we confirm receipt and tell you straight away. You will never find out at payout time.
What if they only need a few states?
Plans covering several states (but not all 50) still qualify: at least $250 per person, with the exact reward confirmed with you in writing before anything goes out. Full details in the program terms.
Do seats they add later count?
Rewards are based on the seats in the initial signed agreement. If they start with 5 seats and grow to 50, we count the 5. Moral of the story: refer the bigger team upfront.
What will it cost them?
Pricing is per seat and scoped to the states they track, with a real quote in one business day on the pricing page. Migration off their current tool, onboarding, and live session support are all included, so the quote is the whole story.
What if my ethics rules restrict gifts?
Common in this industry, and we planned for it. If your employer, client, or state ethics rules restrict what you can accept, we will donate your full reward to a charity of your choice instead, and confirm it in writing. Check your own rules first; we make either path easy.
Does my colleague have to commit to anything?
No. The demo is 30 minutes, zero obligation. They can ask questions and walk away.
Who reaches out to them?
The USLege team. If you share their email, we reach out directly and copy you. If not, we send you a drafted introduction email within one business day and you forward it when you're ready.
Will you keep me in the loop?
Yes. You hear from us when the introduction goes out, when the demo is booked, when they sign, and when your check goes out. No chasing required.
