You didn't choose Telicon. You never left.

Switching off Telicon? It's easier than you think.

This is what USLege does that Telicon does not.

You export the reports and reformat them so they look presentable. You have learned every quirk by heart. That is not loyalty, it is muscle memory. USLege gives you all fifty states plus federal and Puerto Rico, choose exactly the footprint you need, live searchable hearing video, live alerts so you never miss a moment, and briefings that draft themselves, so what you actually get back is your time.

Telicon and the Texas Legislative Service are the same company, in Texas. StateWatch in New York and LegisOK in Oklahoma are related legacy tracking services. Whichever one is on your invoice, this page is for you.

Switching to USLege takes about 30 minutes. Worried about your data merging? Our AI merges it in, even 15 years and 20,000 tracked bills, in about 10 minutes, and we buy out whatever's left on your Telicon contract. You never start from zero, and you never pay two vendors at once. See the contract buyout →

Three names, one footprint

Tools you might recognize, state by state.

TexasTexas Legislative Service / TELICON
New YorkStateWatch
OklahomaLegisOK

Texas Legislative Service traces to 1924.

Telicon and the Texas Legislative Service are the same company, operating in Texas. StateWatch in New York and LegisOK in Oklahoma are related legacy tracking services; we have not independently confirmed shared corporate ownership for those two. Whichever one is on your invoice, this page is for you. Between them, that's three states. USLege covers all 50, plus Congress, Puerto Rico, local government, and agency rulemaking, reached within three years of founding, and connects directly to each legislature rather than pulling from someone else's feed.

One system, direct connections

No matter what state, it's the same product.

USLege connects directly to each individual legislature, all 50 states plus federal and Puerto Rico from day one, aggregates it ourselves, and layers on our own media monitoring and independent AI-generated news for customers. You don't switch software or relearn a system state to state, and unlike a single-state legacy product, you choose exactly the footprint you need: one state, a handful, all fifty, federal only, or any combination, all in one account, all in one place to search across.

For teams used to a familiar tool

Worried about learning something new? You don't have to.

AI-native means you just ask, out loud or typed: "What happened in the Senate hearing this morning?" No manuals, no retraining. Your own AI account manager helps build agents for you, and training is unlimited for the whole team, new hires included. The learning curve you're picturing belonged to the old way. It's gone.

A century in the making

One hundred years. One state.

Texas Legislative Service, which operates under the Telicon name, was founded in 1924 and serves Texas today. Related legacy tracking tools, StateWatch in New York and LegisOK in Oklahoma, serve their own states. USLege launched in 2023, has been AI-native since, and connects directly to all 50 states plus federal and Puerto Rico. If your team needs that broader footprint, USLege is built for it.

We heard you

We already know what you'd miss. We're building it.

We talk to people switching off Telicon every week, and the story isn't "Telicon is bad." People who've used it for years like specific things about it, and we'd rather tell the truth than pretend otherwise.

We listen to you. You get a dedicated account manager, a real person, not a ticket queue; we haven't found a public account-manager offering from Telicon. When a customer tells us what they want, we build it. We don't stop, ever, constant development since 2023, listening to the partners actually using the platform.

The upgrade

Everything you track today, plus the rest of the country

Live alerts. Never miss a moment.

The instant a bill moves or a hearing opens, you know, not the next morning.

Live searchable hearing video

Across the vast majority of states, clip it before the gavel falls.

Full committee transcripts

All 50 states plus Congress, searchable and quotable.

AI-native search since 2023

Across bills, statutes, registers, lobbyist data, votes, transcripts, and video.

Where we come from

We both started in Texas. One of us stayed there.

Telicon's story starts in Austin in 1924, as the Texas Legislative Service. Ours does too, in a sense, our founder Laura Davis built USLege in the state capitols. A century later, Telicon still serves Texas, alongside related legacy tracking tools in New York (StateWatch) and Oklahoma (LegisOK). Three years after USLege started, we connect directly to all 50 states plus Congress, Puerto Rico, and local.
